Lisa Runyon – CEO
Lisa Runyon is the CEO of Columbus Steel Erectors. She has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Toledo. She worked in IT as a LAN administrator for Providence Hospital in Sandusky before moving to Cleveland in 1993 to work for KeyCorp in wide area network design and support. In 1997, she was employed as a network engineer for Huntington in Columbus. In 2001, she was an original founder of Columbus Steel Erectors and began by managing payroll, worker’s compensation, unemployment, and administrative obligations. As CEO, she oversees all financial and managerial decisions.
Shawn Runyon - President
W. Shawn Runyon is the president of Columbus Steel Erectors. He began in the steel industry in 1984 working for John F. Beasley Construction and became a Journeyman Ironworker and later a foreman. In 1992 he went to work as a Superintendent for Runyon Erectors, running projects such as the Circle Centre Artsgarden Project. Later he became an estimator and project manager in which he managed the Bank One Corporate Center and Nationwide Arena. In 2001, Shawn was a founder of Columbus Steel Erectors. He has been a certified welding inspector and is a member and former vice president of the American Welding Society.
